Design & Quality:
These preamplifiers have been thoughtfully engineered and carefully hand assembled with strict quality checks done throughout the process. This preamplifier is a Class A design. An engineering test report is filled out for every unit during the burn-in period to ensure proper performance. We WOULD NOT sell anyone a preamplifier that didn't perform to our high standards during listening tests. Our name is on these and we want them to be right for decades. Vacuum Tubes - Four of 12AX7WA's with DC filaments.
Controls - AC Power Switch, two Volume Controls, An LCC Control, a 5 position Selector Switch with a Mute position, and Phono, CD, Tuner, Tape positions.  Please see: http://www.idealinnovations.biz/lvcontrols.htm for more info about our unique Loudness Contour Control.
Connectors – Power: IEC320 Inlet, Inputs and outputs: isolated nickel plated RCA.  A 6 foot detachable IEC power cord is included.
Circuit Protection – There are 3 internal circuit protection devices to ensure safe operation.
Documentation – This preamplifier comes with a comprehensive owner’s manual.

Components:
Transformer –  The power transformers which meet Ideal Innovation's specifications is 100% shielded to ensure quiet operation, and have been Hi-Pot tested at 1500 volts. The power transformers and all AC components are UL & CSA approved.
Chassis –  All custom made sheet metal finished in black textured powder coat for maximum durability and good appearance.
Other –  Resistors are all flameproof and rated at 1 watt or more regardless of actual load and capacitors are all high quality for long life. Level control potentiometers are full size – not those little cheapies that wear out after a while and the selector is a rugged full size switch made by OAK in the USA. All tube sockets are ceramic with good quality pin sockets.

Taxes:
All Canadian customers will have to pay 5% GST and in Ontario 8% PST (taxes).

Warranty & Returns:
Warranty -  The Elite4+ Preamplifier comes with a one year warranty on everything including tubes – we burn them in and test them very well.  This warranty is subject to the terms and conditions of our Warranty policy as posted on our website.  Extended warranties are available for a very reasonable price.
