Design & Quality:
This Class A design preamplifier has been thoughtfully engineered and carefully hand assembled with strict quality checks done throughout the entire process. An engineering test report is filled out for every unit during the burn-in period to ensure proper performance of every individual component in the circuit. We WOULD NOT sell anyone a piece of equipment that didn't perform to our high standards during listening tests. Our name is on these and we want them to be right for decades. Features:
Vacuum Tubes - Four 12AX7's with DC filaments using Schottky rectifiers for dead quiet operation and a 6C4P-EV (6X4) B+ rectifier.
Controls - AC Power Switch, two Volume Controls, An LCC Control, a 5 position Selector Switch with a Mute position, and Phono, CD, Tuner, and Tape input positions. Please see: http://www.idealinnovations.biz/lvcontrols.htm for more info about our unique Loudness Contour Control.
Connectors – Power: IEC320 Inlet, Inputs and outputs: ground isolated Neutrik gold plated RCA. A 6 foot detachable IEC power cord is included.
Circuit Protection – There are 3 internal circuit protection devices to ensure safe operation.
Documentation – This preamplifier comes with a comprehensive owner’s manual.

Audio Level Output – Greater than 5 Volts RMS per channel.
Frequency Response - 20Hz to 22KHz plus or minus 1.0dB.
Input Sensitivity - Mag Stage: 2.0-3.0 mV, Line stages: 100- 500 mV, This RMS signal will provide full output.
Input Impedance – Mag Stage: 47K Ohms, Line Stages: 100k Ohms.
Output Impedance – Cathode Follower: 15k Ohms.
AC Power Requirements - comes wired for 120 Volts 50/60Hz and can be configured for any international voltage.
Power Consumption – 25 Watts.
Dimensions – 12.0”(305mm)Wide x 8.0”(203mm)Deep x 7.75”(197mm)High and weighs 19 Lbs (8.6KG).

Components:
Transformers – The high quality potted power transformer which meets Ideal Innovation's specifications is 100% shielded to ensure ultra quiet operation, and has been Hi-Pot tested at 1500 volts.
Chassis – All custom made sheet metal finished in black textured powder coat for maximum durability and good appearance. All labeling on the top panel is silk screened.
Other – Resistors are all metal film flameproof and rated at 1 watt or more regardless of actual load and capacitors are all high quality for long life and excellent performance. Level control potentiometers are full size – not those little cheapies that wear out after a while and the selector is a rugged full size switch made by OAK in the USA. All tube sockets are ceramic with good quality pin sockets.
